family fishing trip

Here are a few pics from our family's first fishing trip. We went to a small kids pond just up the canyon from our house. It was pretty cool to see how excited the boys were, and how proud my wife was when I put the worm on the hook, which is always way gross to me.

I know Cedar City is way the heck out of the way of everything. But it really does have its good points. The air is clean, and the mountains are pretty. I just wish all of our friends and family were a bit closer, and maybe a good restaurant or two. That would be nice.

I am having fun

Well for the last couple of days I have been needing a break while at work. It is the end of the year and things are getting quite crazy. So I have found a fun new thing to give my mind a break. I started using Fireworks to create my own scrap booking pages. I am by no means good at it yet, but have found it to be fun and relaxing. I like creating new things. I think I might keep this going for a little while. Good way to post some of my pictures as I continue to take them.
