The end of a long trip

Finally we are home. It was a pretty long trip, or at least it seemed like it was. We were up north once again, and every time we tried to leave something came up and we stayed like three days extra. Good times. Well in my last blog I talked about being nervous for a photo shoot and I was. i think I did okay, but Bonnie is the end judge of that. The pics were for here for Bajio. I am not near the professional photographer that are available, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. I would like to think that i am getting better each time, but then I look at some of these other blogs of friends of mine, and think, dang, I am still not that good.

Taking some more new pictures around my parents house

Well I have a photo shoot tomorrow, and like usual I am a bit nervous. I spent some time taking a few photos around my parents house just to practice and have a little fun. I liked some of what I got.

Cold concert night

Here are a few more pics from our cold concert experience. Like I said I am not much of a county fan, but it was pretty good. I think that I liked BlackHawk the best. Taking pics is pretty fun, but I must admit that the kids being as cute as they are make it much better. Now that it is summer time and I have a bit more time on my hands we will be spending more time up north in Utah County. The gas prices are killing us, but the time with the family is well worth it.

Once again we spent some time at the grandparents house. This time my mom thought it would be a good idea to go to their city's little festival and the country concert at the end of it. Even though I really do not like country music it was pretty fun. Here is a pic of Mandy and the boy that I liked. Notice the blanket. It was kind of nice, but the sun started to set, the wind started to blow, and it got pretty cold.

The grass grows greener

Well to most people this is probably not a big deal. For me, it has been a difficult task. I tried twice to get grass to grow in a few dead spots on our lawn. I put down soil, laid seed and waited. Then one day Zack came running to me and said "Dad you gotta see this, dad you gotta see this". I went and saw to my excitement finally some of the grass popping up through the dirt. I know it is a small thing, but to us it was exciting.

Oh my boys

These boys really are amazing. We have a blast just watching the two of them feed off of each other most days. Jackson wants to be just like his brother, and well I think Zack loves that he is his little brother's idol. Most of the time it is pretty cute, until Zack gets a little over zealous and Jack wants his space.

We had one of our friends over the other night for dinner. I was asked to take some new pics of things for my wife's blog so they can start to advertise what it is they make. while I was taking pics of random girly stuff I took some of our friends daughter also. I thought this one was cute.
